​We recommend everyone start their journey at Performance Horseback Riding school with a trial class. This is a great way for you to test out a lesson to make sure it's something you would like to continue before committing to a monthly package, and it's a great time for us to see your experience in order to recommend the best package for you.

• Trial classes are thirty minutes long

• You must wear proper riding attire including long pants and close-toed shoes

• If your rider is under 18 they must wear a riding helmet. If you do not have one we have some on site.​

• For winter we recommend wearing snow pants if you have them, warm boots, double socks, gloves, and a thin beanie hat that will fit under a helmet.
