SHOW TEAM
Current students who have proven they are dedicated to the hard work it takes to show can join our show team!
We enter our students and horses in all events, from in-hand classes to western and rodeo to english and jumping.
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TEAM
We have four spots on our show team each year! Students wishing to join the show team can apply below. The requirements are;
- You have to be a current student 12+
- You have to be enrolled in the Ultimate monthly package. You can always upgrade once you make the team
- Have a six month commitment to your lesson package
- Attend two off-site shows in the Spring
- Attend Porter County Fair for showing
- For anyone interested in Fair Drill Team there is an additional cost due to weekly mandatory practices
- A minimum of six Porter County Fair practices required by the 4-H
- Shareboard for six months out of the year (February-July) per the 4-H Show Rules and Regulations.
- Attend all your regular lessons consistently, including ground lessons!
PRICING: $1900 ($40 discount) paid in full by the end of the year or monthly payments of $333 Feb-July
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM OUR STUDENTS
Only proven students will be allowed to join the Performance Horseback Riding Show Team. Students who will be eligible will be the ones who have shown hard work and dedication in their classes, the ones who use their lesson time wisely, and the ones who participate in both riding lessons and ground lessons. Both lessons are equally important when showing since we participate in both riding and in-hand shows.

You can request to be a member of our show team by filling out the form below. If you meet the requirements, we will place you on the team. If you meet the requirements but the team is full we will put you on a waitlist for the next year.

**Deadline is October 1, 2026 for the 2027 fair. You will also have to sign up for the Porter County 4-H through their website.
