PERFORMANCE HORSBACK RIDING

PHR SCHOOL

Our riding school is unique in its structure. We don't separate our students based on skill level. Instead, we mix students together to build a community that is more like family, helping each other out when needed and sometimes showing the less experienced how to do something they're struggling to learn.

Our lessons are based on karate school structure, but instead of belts we have ribbons! Under each ribbon is a list of skills students have to accomplish before they move on to the next ribbon level. When it's time to graduate, students receive a certificate of level completion and a ribbon to match and display.

Every quarter students can partake in a review of what they have accomplished so far and what they still need to work on, so parents and students always know where they are at in their riding.

Our prices are based on monthly packages with tons of benefits beyond riding lessons in each one. Head to the plans and pricing page to see all that we offer.

COMMUNITY & FRIENDSHIP

At Performance Horseback Riding our mission is not only to produce great riders, but also to produce strong bonds of friendship that will last a lifetime. Students aren't limited to their own skill level or age group, but get to meet all different kinds of other horse lovers!

RIDING LESSONS

We have well-rounded lessons that give the students a taste of everything; from english & jumping to western & rodeo, our students can do it all! Versatility is what we do best.

Lessons are one hour from 4-8pm on weekdays and Saturdays. We like to keep our classes small so each student can get individualized attention, with no more than three scheduled to a class.

GROUND LESSONS

We offer ground lessons in each of our packages because we feel it's not only important to know how to ride properly, but it's equally important to learn how to handle a horse from the ground. In these lessons we teach safety, tacking, grooming, knot tying, lunging, liberty work, and more!

BARN SOCIALS & MONTHLY CLINICS

Quarterly barn socials are a part of every monthly package we offer, and they are a ton of fun! Wear your best hat to our annual Kentucky Derby Part.

We put on a three hour monthly clinic for our Ultimate package where students can learn certain skills more in depth; such as barrel racing, pole bending, jumping, and more. If spots aren't full by our Ultimate Package students, we open the clinic up to other students wanting to participate.
